Skinning the High Tunnel

It took many hands to put two layers of plastic on our high tunnel last week: Noah, Sophie, Jake (Alprilla Farm), Lise, Ryan and Jon (Appleton CSA), Ben (The Food Project) and Dave, Anita, Megan, Liz and I from Moraine Farm.  Twelve sets of hands didn’t seem like enough when the wind picked up, but it was. Just. We got the plastic on in record time – in one hour the plastic was secured well enough that the wind was no longer a worry! A VERY BIG THANK YOU to the local farmers and our shareholders who helped us!
