It’s a what?!

It’s a kohlrabi, and it’s really yummy. Yes, I know, it’s purple.  Even now, after all these years of eating kohlrabi, it doesn’t seem right to me that a vegetable is purple. But, purple it is. And delicious, also. Eat it raw, make it into fritters, roast it, puree it or put it in soup. We may have a bit more kohlrabi in the summer share next week – give it try!
