Join geologist James Matz and farm manager Gretta Anderson on Sunday, April 27 from 1:00-2:30, for a tour of Moraine Farm in Beverly. The tour is part of Beverly’s Earth Day celebrations and is co-sponsored by The Trustees of Reservations and the Beverly Open Space and Recreation Committee. The tour is free, open to the public and limited to 25 participants.
A geologist and member of Beverly’s Planning Board, James Matz will present information about the geology and soils of the farm. Farm Manager Gretta Anderson will introduce participants to the 23-acre organically-managed community vegetable farm which is owned by The Trustees of Reservations.
