Seeing Stars at Moraine Farm

Join us on Saturday, June 7, at 7:30 PM to celebrate the Beverly Public Library’s acquisition of a telescope! The Library staff is pleased to announce the exciting new addition of an Orion 4.5 inch Starblast table top telescope to our circulating collection. At this special event, Aldrich Astronomical Society President, Jim Zebrowski, will give a dynamic presentation for approximately one hour about space, telescopes, and viewing the night sky from your own backyard.

Weather permitting, attendees will have a chance to go outside and view the night sky through the telescope. Light refreshments will be served.

Due to space and time limitations, this free event will be limited to the first 40 registrations. Register here.

This event will take place at Moraine Farm, a property of the Trustees of Reservations. Prior to the event, registrants will receive directions on where to enter the farm and park. We hope you’ll join us to check out this great new addition to the library’s collection!
